Known Limits
JCOOP is a research tool, not a finished product. It intentionally does not provide features outside its core mission. In Version 1.7:
- It is not production‑certified. Use in controlled environments only.
- It is not a backup replacement. It records operations, not file contents.
- It has not been proven at massive scale. Large deployments and performance profiles remain future work.
- It has not been proven cross‑platform. Current validation focuses on a single platform.
- It does not guarantee original file‑content restoration in version 1.7.
These limits don’t diminish the value of JCOOP’s core proposition. They simply define the boundaries of the current release.
